Quote: jammed one in the shoulder, blood up to the road, then one of those damn red dump trucks flew by and my deer and the other 4 went in different directions. Me and Ian,Huntemup's partner, looked for 1 1/2 hours, going back in the morning.Chuck,How did you do this afternoon? ![]() __________________ http://www.killerskitchen.com , http://www.killersworld.com Vengeance is a dish best served cold !!

Drove past the parking lot today and saw 5 trucks in the lot.
Any Luck? I had my opportunity 2 weeks ago there and blew it. It's a bad combination to be stuborn and stupid. I went in with my climber and didn't see 2 knots about 15 feet off the ground which kept me from climbing as high as I wanted. This ment my platform was tilted towards the tree. I decided against climbing down and letting the cable out to flatten the platform and justified it by expecting the deer to come from my left. With about 40 minutes left of light I see a doe come running down the hill to my right at about 80 yards. I blow my call and she slows down and looks in my direction but keeps going. I turn too my right and stay there looking where she went for about 15 minutes. I decide she is not coming back and turn back to my left. Well Karma's a bitch because it wasn't 30 seconds after I turn around and she comes running back over the hill and stops 10 yards to my right. I try and turn around and she see's me pushing off the tree trunk and takes off. I kept having a nagging feeling that could happen but like I said I was too stuborn to take another 5 minutes to correct my stand. Whoops! __________________ Bowtech Allegiance 65lbs

Chuck,
How did you do yesterday and today? I went to my spot in Colts Neck both days. I saw 19 yesterday and then took Dennis with me tonight and he saw 17. He shot a doe that we will track in the morning it looked like a liver hit and I missed an easy quartering away shot from the ground. I dropped my arm to watch the hit. Whoops! __________________ Bowtech Allegiance 65lbs

I missed a doe about 3 weeks ago, my buddy missed, and I grazed a small buck lots of fur no blood. Till next year.
