Just wanted to know if any1 on here hunts glassboro during the winter bow season? And if so is there alot of guys that do and do the deer hit the bait hard during winter bow?

I pheasant hunt there alot and find trail markers for deer stand every 50 yds in some spots. I also noticed that deer have been hitting the bait hard as the season gets colder ,no matter where you hunt.

Do you happen to know if it is crowded in there late in the season? Did you pheasent hunt this past saturday there and was it crowded?

Actually , I dont think it is that crowded for bowhunters later on in the winter. I only hunt birds there until dec.31 then I hang it up til next season, so I dont know for sure what it's like after new years, but I doubt there's alot of bowhunters. Early bow gets hammered though.

Wow , I thought the cold would thin them out a bit. I know that most of that place is so dense , all the choice spots have people stacked on top of one another.I live 5 minutes down the road from there , yet I wont hunt bow there for that reason.

04, be carefull, the muzzleloader season is going on that time of year too! I shot a doe last year and when I tracked her to find a guy sitting 50 yards from me. She fell right in front of him. No problems he was a nice guy but it could have been a problem, wear an orange hat to and from your stand! Glassborro is a big peice you can find places to yourself if you walk a little, good luck, there are plenty of deer in there.

Only the first 4 days.

There were only 4 deer tagged in during last years entire winter bow season out of zone 55.

I haven't hunted it during winter bow before, but I'm suprised to see rdf saying that there will be plenty of guys there.

Rdf, thanks, I dont follow the muzzleloader seasons much.

I didnt hunt last year much winter bow (10 times at best) but I did ride the roads. On any given Sat. there were at least 10 trucks or more.
