my place has a 50/50 ratio, after 6 years of intense managment. but i don't know if they missed a couple does the first rut. or i have some does that got pushed from the next properties that get the balls driven off of them. i had a 1 1/2 old buck running does tonight like crazy. he pushed three past me at 4:15, then ten minutes later he was on a couple more running them back and forth. i saw him on monday morning make a scrape 30 yards away from me, 10' from a existing scrape. then freshen up a rub and cruize past me at 5 yards. the fawns usually don't get hot till the second week in january around me, so either the first go round didn't stick or i got some new does around. anyway good show. i just haven't seen the mature bucks running any does, only the freshmen.

i put Tinks out on Thursday night in zone 8 . Had a 4 point and spike come 400 yards across and open pasture right to the scent canister.  they both walked right over the bait. they hung around for 10 minutes looking for the mystery doe .    too funny and fun too watch
