I am looking to hunt it once or twice during winter bow and would like some input from someone that currently hunts it. Things like what’s it like, and have you had any problems in that area?

Thanks

Most will, especially sows with cubs or ones that will be birthing over the winter.  But if we have a mild winter, some will stay out all year long... especially the dumpster divers that have a constant supply of food.

Hard to just walk in there and be succesful.  It's big woods that take a season or two to really learn.  I'd say grab your gun/bow and just walk it a few times keeping in mind it will likely pay off next year instead of this year.  I killed my fisrt turkey there and a few more after that, but haven't really deer hunted it much, Except for the part off of Barry Lakes Rd.
