The dummies where hunting public land and shot Does. They dragged them out to a waiting Park Police Officer. You can't shoot Does in Z2 during 6 Day.

Good... It seems some people just do what they want.... Glad they got caught.

Or people don't know what they're doing. You have read up on your zone as to what is allowed and isn't for all seasons.

I guarantee you the hunters first response was, "some guy told us it was OK to take does during six day".

What they did was clearly wrong but with our current system of DMZs and multiple, overlapping seasons I could see how someone could be confused as to what season it is on any given day.

My personal belief is that is written that way to cause people to make mistakes.  If you think I'm wrong, why are you allowed to hunt ducks from half hour before sunrise to sunset... and crows from sunrise to half hour after sunset?  A mistake that can easily be maid... cha-ching!!!

after taking little brother to the hunter safety course.. the instructors say if you don't know ask or its in the NJ fish n game rules reg book..  I have 2 instructors in my hunting club in NY... both say yea it is screwed up but... its all there in the print and some people refuse to read... u don't know, don't read, and don't ask... ur gonna pay the price.... thats just like shooting a deer with less then 3 points on one side and saying you didn't know and u were confused....

what "public" land? Federal reserve? Or zone 2 state land?

That was nice of them to deliver them

Cause crows aren't flying around before sunrise and arent really a game bird just target practice. Where as ducks start to fly earlier and you set up on them before sunrise to bring some home to the pot.

How did you find out about NJH?  Did jrhunt hand you a NJH card after the warden finished dotting the "i"s on the ticket?  LOL...

Sucks bud, but the rules are rules.  Hope you can get a deer legally and end the year on a good note.

Actually,

I didn't see jrhunt.

It does suck, but I will get deer legally (At the supermartket).  After watching the deer get gutted, makes me want to join PETA. jk.

I will be out there again.

The reg , & even zone bundaries , are so easy to figure out Stu's kid could be hunting this afternoon. If you went out not knowing what & where you were hunting your a slob or just plain lazy.

Most "Mistakes" are made from not doing your homework (read the digest)and double checking it
My 2 mistakes
#1. few years ago my friend & I spent all day Saturday bow hunting good thing we didn't see or shoot anything. The season closed Friday and we didn't know it until we got home.
#2. I won't post it because our anti friends will try to use it against us.lol]
