if you hunt wharton state forest in zone 19 be aware of increased patrol by our fish and game officers especially on jackson rd/old medford road. unfortunately there has been an increase of tresspassing on the private hunting club/property were i am a member of. mostly due to some unwanted neighbors and kids on ATV's.

thought this would be a good way to get the word out to tell everybody to play it safe and keep it legal out there.

Fortunately my spot benefits from other club drives  and 4 wheel atv activiity on wharton.  I hunt on an island and the deer flock to it during gun season

hopefully no one on this site should need a warning to be legal while hunting

If you're not doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about. I for one actually welcome increased F&G presence because it weeds out all the slobs that give the sport a black eye.

what really grinds my gears is the increase of dumping on the dirt paths off the main road to the property because it is now wharton.
its a shame that there is such a lack of respect for private property these days.  had a yuppie forest gump come up to me as i am posting the property saying do you mind if i jog on your hunting trails, i said do you mind if i hunt on your jogging trails?  anybody remember what happend out in wisconnsin a few years ago? what worries me the most is some brat on his 4 wheeler tresspassing and gets shot/ they almost passed a no discharge of fire arms ordinance when a slug went through somebodys window.
