This will be the first opening day except for when I was in the Marines since I was 11 years old that I missed. I never drive on opening day. Sit in stand bring provisions and don't move for as long as possible. Best, hook up with the guys for the Deer-A-Thon friday of the 6-day. It's an annual event that kicks off about three or four drives over the course of the permit shotgun season!
