Where do people hunt in Zone 36. If you look at the harvest reports there are as many deer taken there as in zones 3&4. There are plenty of deer in 36 at  Garrett Mountian ;South Mountian Reservation; Eagle Rock Reservation; High Mountain; Ramapo Reservation; Troy Meadows etc. However there is hardly anywhere that can be legally hunted.

I coouldn't agree with you more Frank These damn unconstitutional no discharge laws/ordinance should be being challenged and fought against especially if we are going to be trying to make a constitutional amendment that we have a RIGHT to fish & hunt here in New Jersey.

Everthing in this god damn state is a total challenge to our federal constitutional rights. This state just dose what ever the hell it wants with out regard to it citizens rights or even what we want. Case in point we voted NO on the stem cell money YET they say they will push ahead WHY HAVE US VOTE ON IT THEN

It is not "they" it is Corzine.  He wants a legacy in his name at out expense.  Corzine is saying that he asked for too much money and that is the reason it was shot down.  He is going to spend half of that 450 million and claims that he has the authority to do it without the peoples permission even after it was voted down.

I voted no (like a lot of people) not because I don't approve of the research.  I voted no because it should be paid by the entire US or by private funding.  New Jersey can't afford to do it on our own.  We already pay for too many people sitting home on their asses while the rest of us work two and three jobs to support them.

This moron has to go the same route as Panter and Karcher.

Most spots in zone 36 are sneak in spots and are not legal.  You can find bowhunters in the county park and on private properties without permission.

'No discharge' provisions

The second to last paragraph is interesting in light of the 'no discharge' laws in most of Bergen County. I no longer live in Bergen County, but am curious. Is there a lawyer in the group that has a view on this which seems to say 'no discharge' laws are void?

He also had
questions on municipalities that had a no discharge ordinance vs. the State saying that people can
hunt. He asked if there was a conflict, and if the municipality had the rule over hunting?
Director Chanda noted that the State has the rule over hunting, and the municipalities do not
have the right to regulate hunting. Many municipalities have implemented discharge ordinances
in this case, and it is a gray area. He also noted that if a municipality has implemented such
ordinances to stop hunting and they are challenged, these ordinances have been found to be null
and void.
