Damn, that sucks.  He was way smaller than last year though.  Must've been over the hill.

He was definetly a little bigger last year.  He does have a bit more mass this year though.  And last year he had those crazy sagging main beams...he lost most of that this year.

hat and too many towns that forbid hunting.
I bet this guy got car-whacked in the no discharge zone.

He did, everything north of Tinton Ave in Tinton Falls is a no discharge zone. This guy was at least 2 mile north of Tinton Ave.

That was such a nice buck! What a shame. At least you know he probably went all horned up and happy!

I think Whom ever got the deer after it got hit should turn over the Antlers to JrHunt. He deserves the antlers and the deer deserves the "RESPECT"

I would think it is most likely the same one and that it didn't develop as much this year due to old age...but I have to admit, looking at the throat patch that the deer hit by the car looks to have a broader throat patch than the one in JRs pic...may be the angle.

Either way, if it is, it is too bad the deer's life ended the way it did...and especially painful if it was JRs deer. Sorry JR if that turns out to be the deer you were hunting

The big deer I saw down here in Tabernacle looked very similar to this one with more stickers and a taller rack, yet it wasn't as broad as JRs...but had the three drop tines that were more symmetrical...haven't seen him since that one Sunday

without a doubt its the same deer.
