SoI sat in my one spot this morning as I have the past few times out only to see the same button buck and big doe, after seeing nothing this morning i packed my stand up and moved to a spot I scouted out last week seeing two small rubs I decide to put my stand up here for tonights hunt after searching for a tree to go in with my climber I noticed the two small rubs were now large rubs got all settled in by 2pm and got ready for the wait I had a sent wick hanging near the two rubs all after noon I saw nothing then around 3:30 someone starts to shoot skeet close by thinking my night is ruined I just held tight about 4:30 the tree rats start running around and annyonning me about 4:45 I hear something to my right I turned to catch a quick view of a buck at the time i thought it was a 6 or 8 point basket within a minute he has closed the gap from 40yards to about 10yards he sniffing the air towards the sent wick he walks right into a small opening and it was now or never so I drew back set my pin on him and let the arrow fly at first i thought I missed him he ran about 25 yards and stood there looking back and then bolted after about 20 seconds I hear a loud crash its starting to get dark so I figure I should get down and see if I hit him as I'm getting out of the tree the coyotes start holling on the other  side of the swamp and I figure if I dont find him tonight they are getting him, then my climber hangs up and wont budge now i'm 5 ft off the ground so i just jump down and check the arrow clean through with blood all over start tracking 10 minutes after the shot there is more blodd then i have ever seen on the ground I find the buck piled up 60 yards from where i shot not a trophy but a decent 7 pointer so all in all it was a good move tonight ended up double lunging him and a slice across the heart bes tof all christened the new bow i bought from BROWNING10GA from the site heres the pics when i got home hope you enjoy

To make them show up in your message click on the "image" button then place one of the three URLs that you get from the uploaded image section.

The URLs are the three links you put in your post (Posted:  07 Nov 2007 10:07 PM ).

Hope this helps and again congrats.

Awesome!  Isn't that a great feeling when you start tracking blood and you start off with some, then come upon globs and globs of blood?!  Great.

Again, congrats!
