got a big 6 pt this morning, came in at 7:15, still a little dark, tough to see. I was sitting in my ground blind i bought off someone on this website, this is the 2nd buck i shot out of it.. ITS FUN! ive had both a 3 ptr and a 5 ptr come within 2 yards of me in it, its a great feeling!
anyway this buck came throuh on a mission, just checking the bait for does, never stopping, im set up in a thicket so i only have shooting lanes plus im on the ground so its tough to see, anyway he trotted past me at 30 yards and i whistles and he just kept going on his way, so as he entered my LAST shooting lane i screamed HEY! he locked up and i was at full draw, i was thanking god right then and there until i anchored and couldnt see my sights, knowing he was gonna BOLT outa there any second, i just out my pins under his body behind his front leg, i could see th pins against the background grass, and i lifted them until my 2nd pin was just under his chest, and i released the arrow just in time to put him down within 40 yards, i was pumped, although i thought the deer was an 8 pt, and turned out to be a 6 with a broken tine o well, still my biggest to date..

good luck out there __________________ Jersey Jays Taxidermy
