I got in my stand at about 3:15pm. At about 4:30, a couple does came in who were followed by a small 5 point. He had his eyes on one particular doe. Where ever she went, he followed. She seemed to be playing hard to get but he wasn't about to give up. He started chasing her in a big circle around my set. At one point they were running so fast that when she made the sharp turn, the buck actually fell over and slid a few feet only to get right back up and chase her out of sight. At around 5:15 a few more does came in. A couple minutes later a heard a grunt. I couldn't tell exactly where it came from but it was close. I have a couple very large scrapes that appear in the same spots every year. One in particular is behind some thick stuff about 40 yards from my stand. I focused the best i could in that direction and i saw movement. Then it happened. He came out of the brush, stiff legged and head down, after freshening the scrape and headed toward my tinks69 scent bomb. I knew right away he was a shooter in my book. When he was at 20 yards i drew back. He stopped at 15 yards and i let it fly. He bucked like a bronco and i knew i smoked him. I watched him run about 40 yards and crash. My heart was pounding and the rush i had was like no other. I just want to thank my cousin (hawkeye69) for helping me dress and drag my buck. [img]  [/img]
