Is anyone having any luck in 18? I was seeing alot early in the season, but they have all seemed to disappear. I took a doe opening day, but haven't seen much the past 2 weeks. How about everyone else? __________________ I would rather have a moose hunter from Alaska than a jackass from Chicago

I noticed that a lot of scrapes have been made the past 3 days in my area. I'm heading out in the morning. I'm saying a prayer tonight.  __________________ My son says "Dad! You hunt deer for deer sausage, right?" I say yea sure!....He then says "When I grow up I'm gonna hunt werewolves, so I can have werewolf sausage for breakfast."

| Been seeing a lot of deer everyday. Not as many bucks as usual, but have laid eyes on a big 8 point. Saw a 10 point chasing 3 does right next to the Corvette shop on Rt.539 yesterday morning after I left Al's. He showed me a picture of a 10 point that was shot last week behind that Corvette shop. There are plenty of deer around and some big bucks which are starting to chase harder everyday this week. I have seen more deer being chased everyday since I have been out each day this week so far. | ||

I just blew it. I lowered my bow and just got ready to get down. All of the sudden I hear a bleat. A doe and a small fawn come running right under my stand. She is panting and looking away from me...Here he comes right up to my tinks 69, he then headed right for me. I would have had a nice 10 yard shot. Man I'm pissed. I am staying on stand til it's black out from now on. He was a nice basket 8. Not a big one but good enough for me.  __________________ My son says "Dad! You hunt deer for deer sausage, right?" Saw a spike out of range that's it. Try again Sat. I saw something like 50 turkeys go by me I couldn't count them all. I never saw so many all together.

I had the same doe and fawn that the 8 point was running with come running by me last nigt. I was hoping that the buck was chasing them again. Nope! Nothing else but a small doe the rest of the night. I was going take a buck or a doe but the one doe was small. I don't know when I be able get out again.  __________________ My son says "Dad!
