kudos on giving him a shot at maturity.  obviously a pretty young buck.  he'll be a dandy next year and a jaw-dropper in 2.

Everyone baits in some form or another.  Some choose to not admit it.

I guess banning bating... would require banning scents... and decoys...  and calls...

no?

Better ban compound bows too...

not that I bait... (or use scents...)  I'm just really new to this and wanted to post some extreme thinking cause its late and thats just the kind of bum I am

If I had private land I could picture passing him, but where I hunt on public land he would have had an arrow in his lungs ASAP! haha Good job holding out pal!  Good luck with the bigger one you are waiting on!
And I don't know if you bait but it's amazing how everyone assumed it right away even though I know quite a few who bait near the cameras just to see what kind of kind of monsters you have in the area you are hunting & don't hunt over it...

60% of my spots i have due to a deer problem and are all in smaller lots of woods where baiting is needed to keep deer off lawns and in the woods where i can harvest them if i was not to use baits witch i tryed the first few weeks most deer stayed in the yards..... baitting is more a tool then anything with its use to help are state built healthy and strong deer

Yikes... That is a deer I would have taken..

TWO BUCKS, NO BAIT  Both shot using Tink's 69 and The Primos original Can

I personally don't have a problem with baiting.  There are certain situations where it's warranted.  Certainly no disrespect meant to you Drop Tine, but wouldn't Tink's or any other attractant be considered the same as bait?

Ok....now back to our regularly scheduled program...I wouldn't have been able to pass him up...good job!
