THANKS GUYS. how's it going todd, always nice to here from you. tell your brother nice going on his buck, happy for him. patients and being selective pays off sooner or later. taken the first buck that shows up can and will lesson the chance to get a bigger one. it's a gamble and doing this you have to be willing to wind up with nothing. eventually the day in the sun will come. I hear all the time they shot their buck and they seen a bigger one run off. this only applies for knowledge of wanting a trophy buck and doing so can be nerve racking.also doing so will increase the amount of mature bucks in your area, which increases your odds to achieve your personal goal. best of luck to all

nice bucks

It amazes me the jealousy that comes out when someone shoots a nice buck. While I do not know Barry personally yet. I am good friends with a person he hunts with. I know for a fact that they are ALWAYS in the woods scouting looking for big bucks and working to find the sign to tell them where they live. They are not the type of guys who throw up a treestand and hope a big buck walks by. They put in their time and are rewarded in the end period!
Big bucks can wander up to 5 square miles from where they bachelored in the summer and 10+ miles when the rut hits. So just because a deer might have been seen on Johnsons farm in the summer does not mean someone tresspassed there to kill him. He could have been 3 miles away on uncle Mikes farm.
My hat is off to Barry and all the guys on here who take big bucks year after year. I hope jealous idiots do not keep these guys from sharing these great bucks with us in the future. Congrats many times over and keep on them
