Woke up this morning to rain and wind at 4am, and was feeling very discouraged . Decided to slip back into bed, and awoke at 7am. Decideding that the weather might not improve I decided to head on out to hunt. I was on stand by 9am....saw 2 does at 10am coming out of a swamp...no shot. Then around 10:30am I see a small fawn and her mom..again no shot. About 11am I decide to give a grunt or 2, and within 5 minutes, I see movement behind me.....before I could move I have 14 does and yearlings all around me, but feeling very skittish with all the wind.
I wait til one of the bigger ones gets closer and WHACK!! My new Switchback, and Crimson Talon XP broadheads dropped her in her tracks. Thanks goes out to my friend Anthony (Bucktail) for helping with the drag. If I can figure out how to get my pics off the cell phone I'll post those too

| Sucks Bucktail-- thats marlboro for you - there is a group that runs all over the town - and they take everything they find. Cops know them, wardens know them - they guys busted doing stuff every year- just don't care. | ||

I heard someone in that park packed a guys trailcam full of mud, so as not to take any pictures....I think its ANTI's from the area...not hunters.
