I was set to go out tommorow morning...Unfortunately, I have been upgrading some parts on the bow I recently bought (used), and it is clear that it was need of a new string...so I am out of action for a few days while I have everything fixed back up...Hopefully I will be able to get everything back in order to hunt on Friday...

I was also set to go, but I was up late watching the GIANTS game, then I couldn't fall asleep

Go now Joe! You dont have to get in the woods before daybreak to make a day of it. Theres a lot of days where I go in around 9 and sit the rest of the day or just until 3 or so, or, I'll go and sit for an hour at last light.

I'd rather be in the woods than talking/thinking about it.

I'm meeting Steve (NHbuck) and his buddy Jim to take them to a spot in zone 8 at noon.

I'm hoping they get to use their non-resident tags this evening.

Joe, you're welcome to join us. Email me if you want to go.

I can only be in the woods in my mind during the week.  You guys are killing me in that you can get away from school or work and get out int he afternoon hours!!

I'll be out Saturday AM for 2-3 hours and then Halloween and the days after for FULL day hunts.  Just like the old days when I would be on stand for 12 hours!

I was outside my office on a break and thought how awesome it is outside now.  Somewhat mild, light wind, milky sky, rain coming tomorrow.  Gosh I wish I could escape and get a few hours in!!

Was in Wildcat Zone 6 after work.  Put in a few hours.  Saw nothing...

But I heard Drums in the woods some ~100 yards away... lol... like, a drum train... wild.  Anyone ever heard this in wildcat or elsewhere?
