My cousin parks on the entrance ramp and hunt that corner.  Hmmmmmm  He used to hunt it a lot, you might have run into him if you have hunted it much. I used to hunt two towers down from there where the oaks cut into the main side.

I was hunting off cains mill for the past 5 years right where the dirt road starts with permission. This year some guy hung his ladder stand 20 yards from my tree so I have been disappointed with the area I started hunting fort dix.

If that is on the north side, it might be the setup I did for my son. There is an old blind out there with some bait tubes. I hope nobody got mad at me, if so please let me know. Hope we all have good luck and a safe season. see ya out there.

My son and I drove through tonight just before dark, we started from Broad lane all the way through, across the bridge, turned and headed out past the gun range and saw a grand total of four trucks. Not the Winslow it used to be.

That's the area we hunt. Last two years the orange army swarmed through like crazy during 6-day.Im waiting until later this month for the rest of muzzy season when it's quieter. I was back there Sunday and put an extra 3/8 inch chain on my two stands just for a little extra security.

Yes, but be careful . I havent crossed past it towards the gun range this season, but in the spring the game wardens got stuck with a 4wd truck because they got stuck in the deep rut that the ATV riders made and had to be pulled out. They have graded the road up to it right before bow season , but im not sure about past it.

Its a lot narrower than it was before. Like I said I was coming from Broad lane side, on the opposite side of the bridge it has a rut but not really a big deal. I was a little nervous pulling on it because of the difference in how it looks, and knowing that the old one fell through.

I kind of messes me up a little because I hunt along the river on both sides of the bridge and never really seen anyone. Now the traffic will start to flow more and more again.
