Great buck!!!

Did he mention anything about what creates the hole in that beam? I have 2 on my big deers rack and got many different answers about it. Ive heard that bugs while in velvet created them, to it was a snapped off tine? I'm just looking for the real culprit! The pic below shows the right side good and if you look under the last tine on the left side you'll see the other hole.

i never asked him but i have  a few with them. To my knowledge they are blowflies and yes they do this in velvet.

no i don't but i passed him up lasted year and he grew about 10 inch's

and yea, i heard that botflies create those holes. i've only ever seen botfly larvae in animals skin tho. nasty little suckers.
