Is anybody hunting there this year?
I got tired of the people movement, anti hunters, horsback riders, too many hunters from last year. So this year decided to leave area alone and try some new places. A friend of mine has been scouting around there past couple of weeks and has not seen too many people hunting it like last year. Still plenty deer activity. What is your opinion? |

I stopped hunting there about three years ago along with two of my buddies for the same reasons. Hopefully things are changing.
A friend of mine spoke to the wardens about it on several occasions but they said they do not have the staffing to patrol the atv traffic. I don't mind the other hunters and horseback riders as much as the atv and truck traffic. __________________ "I'M YOUR HUCKLEBERRY"

I don't mind all the traffic on the main trails as much as the warden coming through and telling me to get down so he can check my license stuff. Screw that place. I aint been out there in years.... __________________ Finally out of NJ! In Nodak now waitin to do some huntin!

Impala
Last year the Troopers stop us. One at first and 15 minutes later we had 4 state troopers flying down to our location. We were on the Hainesport side at the corner before you get to the old house. We were like d&#n! Fortunately they did not hold us up for long and went to the otherside. |

Its stupid. I was in my tree for an hour and here comes this warden walking through the woods. I'm not to sure I ever went back after that... that was on the westampton side but still. I've been on the other side as well a handful of times. Its right down the road from me but I won't step foot in that place until the rut and I won't hunt it but midweek in the morn. Can't even imagine what that place must look like on Saturday. __________________ Finally out of NJ! In Nodak now waitin to do some huntin!

Saturday it is a mad house on the field side.
But like I said my friend has been over there the couple times on saturday and midweek. No body has been already (hainesport side). I guess alot of us got tired of the harassment. |
