Funny you say that....I thought so too. 

But the pictures are definetly him.  Is it at all possible that he was older than 1.5 when the pictures of him as a spike were taken in 2005?

I wouldnt think so... Is the Dbl white throat patch common by you.. maybe its a different buck alltogether?

Although its possible, I highly doubt it.  The white patches in the spikes legs are even identical to this buck.  Im 90% sure the pic of the spike is the same buck I killed.

Even the way he is standing is typical of pictures I have of this buck.

But like I said, I agree with you that he looks older than 3.5.

Just came to the realizatoin that I am tagged out for the next month.  Gonna be tough to find the motivation to get out there just to whack does...but ill still get out enough

Monday night I dropped my buck off at SPFtaxidermy.  Steve is a nice guy and has some really nice mounts at his place
