Well this morning was a great morning.. I had deer all around me from the minute I could see. I had mutliple does under me again all mornig which lasted a 1hr, Until the loud grunting came in.. Now my spot is not a spot with a lot of visibility to see whats come in.. I like it thick so the shots are close and fast.. Well at 7:30am right on key the loud grunting started and the does were on alert. Yes I'm baitng these deer. All white oaks around me.. Well the does took off and all I saw was the bases hit a opening. I draw take aim .. a crack . he spun around and crash in a bushes 40yrds away. I knew it was solid hit with the arrow cover with red paint. At 11yrds away it was standing straight in the ground glowing red! He pile up in a sticker bush which was dead. So hearing him go down sounded like someone using a brush hog. Short recovery 40yrds done!. I suprized to see a nice 6pt with good mass nice spread and soild velvet hanging off his rack ..Hopefully it will make a nice mount! Thanks to my buddy Bwguide for the help on dragging in the heat.. and sorry about the late post. alot going on today and my sister-in law had the picson her camera. ps no bald jokes just shave it last nite!
