I went out tonight and shot my EAB it was a small button buck I had a small doe run up to me about 15yards away before something cought her attention where she ran from and ran back around 5:30. Around 6:30 I saw three does walking in the field in front of me about seventy yards away the go behind some brush and the two small does come back out into the clearing between the two fields I am hunting. The smallest doe stays ont the far side of the path and the bigger one starts to eat his way towards me. he finds some corn on the ground and follows the trail to the small pile of corn. he was between 12-15yards away when I shot him. He never knew I was there![]() ![]() He ran about fifty yards behind some brush and layed down. I stayed in my stand until my friends got down. While I was waiting two does came to the front of my stand and stayed there for a few minutes and walked away. Than the two does that were with my button buck did the same exact thing the button buck did. My friend showed up before sun down and found my arrow at first we thought it was a gut shot but we soon started to find huge amounts of blood in the dirt and found him about 75yards away where I shot him. The arrow went in to his chest and came out in the center of his stomach. That is why we thought I gut shoted him. I gutted him and called him in and I'm checking him in tomarrow. I'll post pics tomarrow.![]() __________________ |

Congrats I think you have to post pic in the contest entry thread. Might also need more info, check out contest rules in that section. ![]() __________________ The government’s view of the economy: If it moves, tax it.
