Hey guys just wondering how everyone is doing so far.
Personally I’ve been a little busy myself and haven’t been able to clock the usual amount of time in stand this month so far. I have seen and had under me two good bucks so far this season a shooter 8 and a really nice thick 7, that if no one kills will be a great deer next season. As for slick heads, though I have seen them here and there no good shots on one yet.
To be honest my back is giving me some crap over the last two months and I guess I’m moving around to much on stand so I have been busted several times now by does that snuck in so quietly I didn’t even know they were there till it was to late.

That’s the way it goes some times I seem to have bucks under me pretty much every trip or two out but the does don’t show up or when they do they bust me.  Just wanted to see how you guys are making out and give a quick up date on my slow season start so far.

Good Luck Team   “Stop’um & Drop’um”

im not of to a good season at all. i just cant get them to come in close enough. the only one i had a shot at was a button buck, and decided not to take it.im having really good feelings about saturday though. i have a decent 8 and a decent 7 on my trail cam. most of everyone on here would pass them but for me it would be my biggest buck i ever got,so i will be taking them given the opportunity. were of to a bad start but will come through in the end.

hey drop i know i got some issues with my knees so i bought a drop down blind for my hang on stand and it helps with the moving part. you might want to check them out. also acts for an am rest wich makes me more comfortable.  i hope the back gets better.

Thanks, same with your knee, hope if gets better I was thinking about the blind to help mask some of the moving and shifting around I've been doing. I actually cut a few branches down and stuck them around the back of my stand to help mask and conceal me a little better. Thanks for the advice, I'm thinking about it. I'm sure I'll points will start going up quickly once the fall season really opens up as for the back problems, anyone with them knows how it goes, had three surgeries and BLA, BLA, BLA same sh!t Different day, It will ease up when it’s ready

First time out was Sat. night. Could have taken anyone in the family but just watched. It was hard but I got through it and hadn't looked back. Mom and 3 babys that didn't have spots but one had nubs. He presented the best oppertunity of them all.

Good goin its still early yet fellows. Will look around a little more this week to sit for another shot. 1 rst stand could have taken any one of them so it was a good stand and extreamly pleasurable with the new hip.

Oh yeah got a Thermocell and that really works and was amased. When I baited Thursday night I nearly got eaten alive so I figured I better get one and try it.
