i'm gonna give it a shot at a spot i haven't hit yet this season.  I'm looking for a nice buck.  i have some real nice fresh rubs around my area.

i can only hunt the morning tho.  but with this hot weather it's not a big deal.

anyone else hitting zone 5?

I haven't been out in Zone 5 yet.  I have been out in zone 10 only.  I'm doing ok so far.  Haven't seen anything really exciting yet though.

Ya, well join the club pal, I'm about ready to start using my head to pound my keyboard at work.  I've picked up two new pieces to hunt this season and I haven't been out a singe time yet.  I was planning on getting out tomorrow for the first time, and now that's questionable.

Tomorrow looks like a beach day instead. A week from today back to the low 70's for a high.

should be cool at first light though.

Sorry to hear that, but at least I don't feel so bad . I'm sure Sat will be a great day, for fishing maybe, it's going to be 90. Don't know if I'm gonna go hang a stand and sweat to death or if I'm gonna wade fish the river.

Just had a doe walk high on me.  She was walking same path as first deer.  I'm in bottom of ravine.  The deer always walked down here.  Well today they are walking about half way up.

Was out in Zone 5 this morning as well. One racoon, bunch of tree rats and no deer.

Made it back to the truck just as the rain started though. Didn't get too wet.
