Six mile is a tough place to hunt and IMO to shoot a doe (limited trees for stands, cant leave treestands up, alot of preasure) But after hunting there for four years it holds some really nice bucks. This year I am not hunting six mile anymore and have found an easier and maybe better spot to hunt.

I had a 4pt. under my stand at first light. He stayed there for about 15 minutes. 10 yards and broad side. One doe that stayed out and bedded down at about 9:00. Later that night nothing was moveing in my area. I got a call from my buddy hunting the other side who took a doe at 7:15pm. Tracking in the dark sucks. Found her around 10 in some really thick stuff. Got home at 11:30. Wackem, were did you see the bear at. I've been hunting 6 mile for years and never saw one in there but I did see scatt.

Its true the state relocates alot of bears there. When they first did it a newspaper reported it and the community was pissed. Several weeks after that the state convieniently changed its policy and now they dont realease any info on the locations of relocated bears.
