We are down to 5 days. I don't know about you guys, but I'm pumped up and ready beyond belief. My morning spot looks pretty promising. Good luck to all you guys and girls....have a great/safe hunt! And may you all Git R Done

Same to you Chris,I will be in zone 51 opening morning not far from 16. Hope Court and I get a morning doe.

No deer movement at all. Covered with chiggers on the way out. Dale how have you been? Good to see you on here.

Doing good, Thanks. Hope everyone is doing great up in NJ.
Boy I miss NJ opening day not the same in Miss.
I see it is a hot day up there today 90's sounds like Miss. weather.
I'm sitting around waiting for our opening day Oct. 1st a Monday, I guess I be taking a vacation day.

Sorry to hear that John, that's how my am hunt went. But in the afternoon I saw a bunch of deer. Passed on one just out of spots and took a shot at a bigger doe. Shot for about 20-25, but was 30 and I ended up just shooting under her. With the chiggers, it's very handy to carry a lint roller either with you or in your truck. I used my friends last night and got some off me, that I would have never known where there. Give it a try. It beats using bug spray or not using anything at all!
