Think it will work ??

Since everyone says that the deer living in the pines don't get much nutritious food, and as such don't taste as good as farm raised deer, I thought I'd try an experiment.
I figured I'd Pre-Marinate them before shooting them.
I have access to the "left overs" from several local road stands, so I figured, what the heck, let's see what the deer in the Pines, will eat.
Well, they eat everything. Lettuce, tomatoes, corn, beets, onions, peppers, celery, even some garlic.
I think they would eat the bucket if you left it out there overnight. My latest addition to the menu is carrots. Boy, do they love them !! And they're free
So in a few weeks, we'll see how the "Marinade" works out, cause they're sure eatin' well !
Carrots by the quad full, fresh picked.

I was thinking about buying a BIG container of Adolpf's meat tenderizer and sprinkling it over the "leftovers". I tasted it on my tongue, and it's a little salty. So they should eat it

Think I'm kiddin'.

I'm going to BJ's Wholesale tomorrow. They should have the BIG cans of it !!

I'm guessing it can't harm anything, and might add some good flavor, will be interesting to hear the results!

The  hunter merges with the chef. I like the concept. Then when it comes time , just kick it up a notch, BAM.

With all the corn and everything else you have been feeding them down there for the past few years they should taste like farm raised deer already.  I've seen you dump a fields worth of corn under one stand
