how about a guided tour during the early season-and give us newbies the lay of the land?

I'll show you some spots, but keeping the good ones to myself for my cousin and father.

I backpack through blair creek area about two years ago on the AT with my son. Nice area, heavy duty hiking but worth it. I'm planning on youth day with my son there.

i hunted bear creek last year and it was a zoo, one guy set up less then 75 yards from me on the opener. I went back on thrusday and friday of buck week and was there just after a few guys drove the piece i was looking to hunt. its as crazy as Wma's if not worst because most people think there are more deer there because its new....not the case.

sorry for the discouragement but its just the truth. yes bear creek is a nice hunting area and there are deer there but there are also alot hunters.
