My buddy sent me this yesterday of his daughter with a Bull Frog they caught. It's fairly big in size!

i walk the shorelines of this little pond I fish with a single hook on my rod and when i see a frog i hook em right under the lip..its tons of fun and my friend had a scale..I caught some over a pound! one was almost 2 pounds.

when i was a kid, a long time ago, the old timers used to go "frogging" at night.

they used frog spears.

they would get flashlights and burlap sacks and walk along the shore of every pond and stream in the area.  they would even go to golf courses.

they would shine the light on them, spear them, and throw them in the bag.  sometimes they'd still be alive, hissing and jumping around.

the next day they'd fry them up.
