Anyone planning on hunting Yellow Brook Tract this year? Looks like they opened up 301 acres. If so, please send me a PM. I'm looking for as much info about Yellow Brook that I can get. Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to scout the area but I hear that its loaded with deer... and some big bucks. __________________ Dog's on point... get ready!!!

I was thinking about hitting Yellowbrook.
I was at Turkey on Sunday, and it seems like stands and feeders are going in at some of my favorite areas.
I'd rather scout a place myself before taking someone's word on good spots. A simple method would be a sattelite map and look for any water or terrain breaks. __________________ "...but to protest against all hunting of game is a sign of softness of head, not soundness of heart."

We found a good spot for his stand though, so he should be ok. Also saw a few bait piles at Charleston Springs too. Someone putting out the expensive stuff. Quote:

I was going to hunt Tatum, but it's really a small place - it'll be overrun within a week.
I just did a satelite look at Yellowbrook ![]() .
301 acres, big enough, just more effort with a climber on my back. Ask Catskill hunter - he saw my climber - big enough for an elephant! __________________ "...but to protest against all hunting of game is a sign of softness of head, not soundness of heart."

Now with the whole state reading this, there will be about 20 tree-stands, and more corn than Nebraska in October!
Thanks mr12gauge. I might give it a shot in the afternoon - I need to see where I'm going. __________________ "...but to protest against all hunting of game is a sign of softness of head, not soundness of heart."

| If that is a monmouth county park, forget about your private entry. Rules say you must park in designated areas. Take it from me I know, since I got my warning already. | ||

Anybody been there yet? The deer i shot last week was in yellow brook. There are deer in there. Just don't be afraid to walk. It goes way back. If anyone goes in there, please don't steal my tree stand and climbing sticks, they're brand new ![]() ![]() And worse than that is i really don't feel like humping another one back in there.__________________ Fat Cat Sportfishing

| I have seen plenty of does and a few decent Bucks back there just not this week. The wind may have been a factor they were slow to move. | ||
