Yes, the bears are insane! I saw more last year in 5 that I have in the 5 years I've been hunting there. Good luck Woj. I scouted mine last week. Good luck scouting! It's been a long time since I hunted that area (Columbia Lake)...some of my best memories are there. Keep us posted with your observations in Zone 5.

man was it hot! i hit my spot just before sun up. i was surprised to see the state didn't even cut the field edges. man it's nice when they cut them. makes a much easier and dry walk....lol i was soaked. my spot looked good as usual. tons of tracks and sign. didn't see any deer or bears. i also hit zone 8 for some scouting. __________________ Soccer-Mom Pro-Staffer *Hunting The Wild's of New Jersey*

Elusive, Mostly public land that gets a lot less pressure than most people think. We've been hunting it for 4 years now and each year we see more and more deer...it's loaded with does and by the end of October we're seeing the bucks on a consistant basis.
