| I am going to the midwest for two weeks on a do it yourself whitetail hunt this fall. My plan it to have a local taxidermist to the caping if I get lucky. Do you recommend that they salt and ship to you or should they freeze the cape and send it? I will be bringing any antlers back with me. | ||

If they can turn the ears and lips and fletch it out then they should salt it and ship it. If all that can not be done your best bet is to freeze it solid and ship 2nd day air. Wrap it in house insulation and box it. Don't forget to measure it nose to the inside corner of the eye and neck behind the ears. If you have any other questions call me at 732-449-5950
