pheasants should only be 2 points with the chukars and quail..... Stocked birds are a bit easier to find then those sneaky wabbits....

great idea ,I think it will work the bunnys are not stocked so we have to hunt different land every week to find fresh crops ,bird hunters pay to have there birds put in hedgerows for them ,jim I like this one ,not that it will make any diferance we wont win anyway

If Mack wants to change it then thats up to him, but for right now we will keep the points and rules the same as he had them.

I must have been sleeping as I never even saw this thread.

It would APPEAR that the game has been slanted a MIGHT to Team 5.

But hey, I'll give it my best this year to hold up my end of Team 1.
I start Vacation Oct 30 and will be bird hunting every day with the start of the season.

I do have a question though and may have missed it.

It says the contest starts Sept 30 I think, so obviously grouse and woodcock start next week sometime and will count.
What about pheasants shot on preserves?  Last 2 years we didn't allow them to count until after the start of the NJ season for them.  Still that way?

It's still the same unless Mack changes it.

That's cool.  I'm gonna be trying my luck at some woodcock soon, if the weather ever gets cool enough to push them down here.

I shot some squirrels last week.... I didn't get a pic of the first 5 with my oldest son (phone battery died) but I did take one of my middle son and 5 squirrels....

Woj.... could you post that pic for me???

The kids have been having a ton of fun going after tree rats so I'm sure I will be putting up some more numbers soon....

I guess we should start adding up the ponts now huh? For anybody that is new to this, last year we added our own points to your own name and to the team. All you do is copy the last updated post with all the teams, update your points and the teams points, and paste it in the message box and then post it.

Example......

Team 1 = 30 points

Buckmaster14 - 6 points
TJC - 6 points
Striperhyper - 6 points
Mpemt24 - 6 points
gspowner - 6 points

Oh i almost forgot, to get credit for your points, you have to post a pic in the Small Game post for that day. If there isn't a SG post, make one. Ex. Small Game check in 10/19. Then go update the points on the contest post.

You'll get the hang of it as the season goes on.

I think thats 5 more points then I scored all last season!

Hi Jim, missed that photo yesterday, somehow!!
Great pic of your son and those tree rats look pretty hefty.
Nice to see you back.
