Droptine, couldn't they just cut the plastic box right by the lock?

although i think it says something about being bolted to tree inside on the front...

It is also bolted to the tree from inside and the chain is bolted in several spots around the tree to keep it pressed tight against the camera. I lost two cameras one with just the chain loosly on it and the other with just the bolts inside and a lock on the outside, but so far no one has took this camera and set up

Also the two cameras that where stole had to be broken off to take so if you see a couple cameras out there on trees that are busted up a bit odds are they are stolden from some one else mine also have my name and cell # engraved all over it.

In the end no matter what you do if they want it bad enough they’ll find a way to get it, if not then they’ll just destroy it on you out of spite. The best way is as Drag said hide it well and keep your bait small and un -noticeable.

Here's a small cage I built, and the pipe through method. both with python locks.

As much as a pain that it is i put mine up around 12ft pointing at the trail or bait . Mine has a wide angle lens so it covers a decent area .Most people arnt looking UP but a camera 3-4ft of the ground is a target regadless if you use a chain or python lock.
id ratcher bring my climber or a pair of linemans spikes the have a camera walk i built mine  but you guys with the moultries and cuddebacks thats a big nut to put out and hope nobodys sees them.It suck ya have to resort to these tactics.

Loaded4Bear and Mike K, those are two REALLY AWESOME setups you guys have made.  If either of you are interested in making and selling a couple of them please post here or send me a PM.  I recognize these things take time and materials, i am happy to pay a good price for your efforts.  Thanks in advance, guys
