Hey I stopped shooting camo arrows because it was hard to see where they went unless the fletching was a bright color. I'm just curious if anyone else has this problem or its just me.

Half the time I can't see where they go, and I have a white wrap with white feathers & a white knock!

Only way I can tell is if I am up in a tree... shooting down... complete pass thru... and the arrow is sticking out of the ground.  Feathers and wraps are covered in blood.

Also... gotta love the big "crack whack" sound when the arrow hits the deer.

If you know where you are aiming you should have an idea where the arrow is .

How about shooting closer 20 and in and you should have no problem even if arrow is covered. Oh thats right I shoot a slower string so thats why I can see the arrows.

Bright floresent nocks?

they are nocks that upon release of the arrow they light up, and stay on for many hours or until you recover them. They do add some weight to your arrow, your arrow will fly some what slower, but not a big difference, they are expensive. Use wraps, with colors not found in the woods, they will stand out and make a recovery easy

Dipping the rear arrows or wraps that are light colors also help to see an arrow that's camo.

White fletching and Luminocks.  If you really like to see the arrow dip it white as well.  Nothing shows up better (except in snow)  Nugent uses this setup because it shows up best on camera.

Camo arrows are a bad idea unless you are hunting turkeys with out a blind.
I like a yellow wrap or crown dip with white or white and yellow fletching for all of the reasons listed.

deergetter often times an "Idea" is not enough information.
