Brian .... I sent you an email with a .pdf attachment. Did you get it?
If not, send the fingerprints to State of New Jersey Division of State Police Attn Criminal Information Unit PO Box 7068 West Trenton NJ 08628-0068 with that form, and a money order for $30 Hope this helps. coot |

Quote: WOW that sucks yes your right but if you were arrested and go to court and they find you not guilty it will still come up on the DV list. and you will not be able to get a fid. Not for those who actually have committed and been convicted rightly so, but for all the poor guys that married a vindictive woman that would falsely accuse them to make there lives hell I have seen this happen to not only friends but famille members also.
I know one guy that was away in Boston and his mother in-law who wanted him and her daughter divorced. Lied to police saying he fought with her and struck her several times, when the poor guy wasn't even in this state. When he came home he was of course arrested and had to go threw all the BS only to be proven innocent and the mother in-law was charged with making a false police report and some other junk, but passed away before she could face a judge. Last time I heard from the guy he was divorced and heading to Iraq. I’m not say all women or even most are willing to misuse or stoop to the level of this, but it happens quite a bit and screws the guy up for a long time to come if he is a hunt it could ruin his life forever. An update: I received my criminal record from the new jersey state police in today's mail. I mailed the fingerprints into them 9 days ago. Pretty good turn around time, I think.
I have the forms and the certified mail stuff from the post office and ready to go. Will mail the petition to the superiour court on monday. Although I really feel like going there in person, just a little nervous that things don't get lost, etc.
We'll see how my do-it-yourself expungement goes. By the way, thanks again oldcoot. BB |

Quote: I felt the same way, and filed in person .... what a waste of time.

Although I really feel like going there in person, just a little nervous that things don't get lost, etc. I suggest you go ahead and mail it in. It is handled by the Judge's Clerk (a young lawyer), and you will get a response immediately. Always deal with the judge's clerk if you have any problems, not a court clerk and not any of those other people that work in the county court complex. Good luck. Quote: No problem. Glad I could help.
By the way, thanks again oldcoot. |
