Hey Jon, whats going on dude?
Posted:  29 Jul 2007 8:34 PM
Hey Joe... not much is going on. I tried to send you a PM. Accidentally hit send and one or two went thru before I typed my message. Then I tried to send one with an actual message... that one did not go thru

I've been working a LOT lately, as my company just moved to a new & bigger office. Since we're a small company, I do my own job... and take the role of a janitor, the HR manager, director of financial operations, councillor, purchase manager, and then some.

Also been trying to save some extra $ for a new house. Made an offer on one in Stillwater, but I don't think the seller will accept my offer. I may make an offer on one in Long Valley too, but the taxes are just too high. Same house somewhere else costs at least $2k less in taxes a year. May not sound like a lot, but that's a Maine bear hunt... or a nice pheasant trip to South Dakota or Montana.

LP was $280k. House needs a new roof ($10k), new siding ($5k), a termite control project ($2500) and some foundation work to correct a sagging foundation on 1/2 of the home ($ unknown). I offered $240k, but have not heard anything yet.

We went up there last night with Jason.  A lot people, a couple events going on. We only saw one nice buck, 6 pt and a couple of does and a few fauns. They are there, though. Was looking to see if I saw your truck parked.

Joe was there too.  That one buck is a good one.  I saw over 40 deer and out of the 40, 22 were fawns....  All those 2 year olds from last year are starting to look good...
