NJ Hunter / New Jersey Deer, Bear & Turkey Hunting / Bear / Anti Albert Kazemian Arrested (Again) !!!

When you look at the group picture it's quite obviuos that, gowing up, they were all nerds, picked on and made fun of relentlessly by their peers and classmates. Animals were their only source of affection and companionship.

Based on what they now do and comments by some of you guys.......nothing has changed.

I think their theme song should be 'Jeremy' by Pearl Jam.

A convicted animal rights activist has been arrested - again - in Vernon Township, New Jersey.

Vernon Township is in the middle of New Jersey with the highest concentration of black bears. That's led to a number on ongoing complaints about the furry marauders who have pretty much made it a frightening proposition for some residents to wander in their yards or walk their pets without facing encounters with bears some residents say "just won't go away."

Unfortunately, it's also home to several activists who have opposed the state's efforts to control the bear population with two one-week hunts in 2003 and 2005. One, Albert Kazemian, 50, apparently doesn't care that his neighbors don't want the bears around.

He's determined to thwart any efforts by NJ Department of Environmental Protection state biologists to capture and relocate the pesky bears. That refusal to play by the rules has again led to his arrest.

In the wee small hours of Wednesday morning, Kazemian was apprehended following a brief chase that ensued after officers caught him allegedly pouring human urine on bait left to lure bears into a non-lethal trap near his home.

This is the latest in an ongoing series of problems wildlife officials have had where someone has tampered with the non-lethal traps they've set to catch problem bears for relocation. Apparently, a neighbor spotted - and photographed Kazemian doing the same thing to the trap the day before, setting off a stakeout that resulted in his arrest.

Residents have complained - almost equally, officials say - about problems with bears and bear protesters. It seems Wednesday's arrest may help resolve the problem with protesters.

The urine-pouring Kazemian now faces five counts for various offenses, and could face up to six months in jail for each offense. Last year, he was fined for disorderly persons charges after interfering with the state's approved bear hunt. This time, the judge might not be so sympathetic since he seems to prefer the bears presence to his neighbors' safety.

According to this, this moron could get up to 2-1/2 yrs in jail.  Yeah right!  Like that'll happen.  My guess is that he'll get like a month MAX.

Northern Region Highlights

Lieutenant Fletcher and CO Hutchinson apprehended a Black Bear activist tampering with a culvert trap in Vernon Township in Sussex County. The local resident had been seen by a homeowner climbing into the trap holding a spray bottle. A positive identification of the individual was made at that time. An investigation was initiated and the trap was placed under night-time surveillance by the Bureau of Law Enforcement. On the fifth night, the fifty year-old male suspect was observed by the officers spreading a liquid believed to be human urine from a gallon jug on the bait trail leading to the trap. The officers illuminated the man with their flashlights, identified themselves and told him not to move. The subject chose not to follow the instructions and ran, throwing the jug in the process. He was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit and placed under arrest. The jug was recovered still containing approximately one pint of liquid. Vernon Township Police assisted with transport and processing of the subject. Complaints were filed for obstruction of government function, obstruction of administration of law, resisting arrest, interference with a conservation officer and hindering the lawful taking of wildlife. He was additionally charged with obstruction of government function, hindering the lawful taking of wildlife and criminal trespass for the earlier incident. The subject had been previously convicted of hindering the lawful taking of wildlife and resisting arrest from a December 2005 incident. Northern Region Conservation Officers devoted 250 man hours to security of Division operated black bear traps during the report period. Also assisting were Conservation Officers Nestel and Paul and Captain Cussen.

BTW, the trial is 12/18.  Sportsmen should attend to support the incarceration of Ali The Terrorist and to support the women he counter sued.  It's a good bet that Ali the Terrorist will be in jail for Christmas.

>> The date is Dec. 18th- the time 1:30.

BT - that's alot of optomism you've got there.  In this liberal, hypocritical state that we live in, there's little to no chance of this ass getting any real jail time.  He'll get a slap on the wrist and told not to be a bad person any more.  It's pure BS!

I don't know, these judges have had it with this stuff up there.  It will be his second offense in front of the same judge who warned him last time.

If I was the judge I would have also added 5 years jail withheld with TEN years probation.  That way if he blew his nose the wrong way he would have been automatically back in jail for another 5.
