I was up at my father-in-laws cabin this past weekend and saw 2 wood [no swearing please] and got the crap scared out of me by a grouse. My wive and father-in-law also saw a grouse. My father-in-law and brother-in-law saw a pheasant. I have been thinking about getting a New York non-resident small game license to hunt up there. He has 50 acres and is surrounded by state land. Do you guys think it would be worth the $55.00 to hunt birds when I get my pup? I would only be hunting for 1 or 2 weekends out of the season. __________________ It isn't the catch or the kill that makes for a great outdoor experience but enjoying all that God has created for us.

Go for it
Grouse breast meat is some of the best you will ever have. You'll probably have so much fun, I think you'll spend more than a couple of weeks doing it. Especially when that pup looks at you with those big brown eyes and whines at that first frost....... __________________ Chicken Parmigiana Pro Staffer
