NJ Hunter / New Jersey Hunting / Road Survey / Lost first deer of the year..

Well I am doing better than last year, but yesterday lost the first of the year..A spike that was living on my property tried to cross the road and didnt make it..Last week he let me get about 10 feet away before he walked off..Last year I lost 8 to cars in the 1/4 mile in front of my house..Guess people dont pay attention to Deer Crossing signs or there are too many idiots speeding down the road and not paying attention..See how long before the County picks him up

How can you "Loose" what you never realy had?

It used to upset me when I would see them get smashed on the road it's neveer good but thats just how it is I must have seen 150 deer get hit near my place in the time I have lived here.

What gets me now is the lies the anits get to put in print saying "Hunters drive deer into the roads when I see almost as many get hit during the differant moon phases of May and June when no one is "Hunting", but who puts that in the paper?
The public perseption of hunters is constantly under attack by those who never have to support what they say and that is what bothers me even more than ANY road kill.
