how many birds did you get?
where were you hunting? what method did you use? how many days did you hunt? did any geese have leg bands? We (me and a friend) got 28 birds. we hunted near hackettstown we used 20 decoys in fields with calls in the AM. we hunted 7 days. got skunked 3 times. no birds had leg bands. |

The reason I said "never speak of #'s" Is because it basically looks bad for hunters.
But here's my season: We (me and 6 different friends at different times & places) got a bunch of geese. we hunted near hackettstown, Washington, clinton, newton & Long Valley We used from 6 to 48 decoys (full bodies, silos, shells, floaters) & flags either in fields or on the water. we hunted to many days LOL. got skunked 2 time. All most forgot & we'll be out tomorrow too |

I beg to differ. Season harvests should never be put on a open board.
Early season is 26 days, Limit is 8. How would it look is I said we hunted 20 of those days & took 250 geese? It's not that hard that # isn't even filling limits. (just my opinion) Looks bad. Tim did you see the sunrise????? LOL My last post to this |
