I drove through Rifle Camp about a week and a half ago at midday. Saw tom and a hen on the main road. Saw 3 toms and a 2 hens by that big parking lot above the main road. No deer

Oh man I almost rung a turkeys kneck LOL...drove through and my ol lady was amazed at how close the turkey would get. Then he started pecking the hell outta the side of my truck  Man he's lucky there were on lookers  __________________ DB's Euro Mount Service

Here are some of the pictures I've taken at Garrett and Rifle Camp over the past few months.
The first three pics are from September 2. You can see some of them still have their summer coats. 
These next two are from later in September: 
On this next one, I forgot my camera, so I used my cell phone to take a pic of this hawk eating a chipmunk. 
On Nov 1, I went to the park but didn't bring my camera. I saw a big-bodied 6 pointer with a tall and skinny rack. He was about 10 yards from the road and looking at me like I owed him money. He was strutting around and there were about five other deer there trying to stay out of his way. I also saw a 4 pointer chasing a dow across a field. On Nov 10, I brought my camera back and took these pictures of a deer and turkeys. 
I thought that turkey was going to peck my car. I started to drive away and he was chasing after me. There were about five or six other turkeys there. You can see some of them in the background on the last pic. |
