I would love to bag one of those bucks at Rifle Camp or Garrets Mt., but then again where is the real sport of shooting a deer that is so use to humans, that they would walk up to you and be hand fed? Might as well hunt a zoo.

On management hunt I participate in you would think the same thing. Not the case. Yes the deer are stupid. The hunt takes place during extended bow and again during winter bow. After the first few deer are harvested they get almost a leary as deer in a normal place. In addition to that there is more of them so there are more sets of eyes to bust you.

I was there tonight.  Brought the dog for a walk at Garret Mtn and then drove through Rifle Camp.  I saw about 50 deer between both parks.  Does anyone know what time the gates open in the morning???

I was there last week. There was a herd of about 15-20 bedded on the hill above Baurber's Pond. There was another vehicle with a UBNJ sticker checking them out. Was that anyone on here?
