I saw a white and brown deer today by the castle fedding by the side of Rt 19 South Bounded.

Suburban deer in NJ? What else is new? Sliced bread?! Before the cull hunts in Feb. I used to see P&Y cl [no swearing please] bucks browsing on the side of the road in the Watchung Reservation. thats really hard to say.....I see then all the time, in Garret Mtn., and Rifle Camp. The most I saw at together was 18, then most I counted in 1 day between both parks was well over 20...Im sure there are more, and the ones I see are very healthy. So if I had to guess maybe 100 or so, more with the fawns that will be born soon

I was up there this morning saw a total of 25 deer, 20 of them bucks for which 6 had already grown very large racks, and only saw 5 does, but they could be tending to there fawns, also saw 3 toms!!!!

I saw so many deer this morning, I saw over 20 bucks, 14 of them had nice racks, but there was one that I would say was about 170lbs., huge 6 pointer his rack was 2' above his head and the widith was around 20"

Hey guys Garret mountain is loaded with bucks, as you know. The reason why no one can hunt it is because it is county property. I know of another similar place in the area that is also loaded with huge bucks. I have permission to hunt it but the last guy that got caught went to jail. They used dogs from his car and tracked him right to his stand. It was the county police. It is not worth it to get jammed up and get your stuff impounded. If there is ever a hunt there it will either contracted out or they will use a lottery system with cops only. bowhuntnj: I wish they would open it for deer hunting archery only, not only do I see lots of bucks but big ones, I see lots of does, and lots of fawns. Rifle Camp Park had the most fawns I saw between the 2 parks, I saw just one buck, it was a fork-horn in Rifle Camp

On tuesdays and wednesdays im off duty, and I normally go up there early for my run, I have to take my camera with me, cause that good looking honey bunny is out there feeding the deer, I have to get a picture of her, I mean the deer.

There was a 14 pointer up there on the Clifton side by the Church on Valley Rd. My Sister lives off Valley Rd. and sees deer all the time. My buddy is pres. of UBNJ and at the dinner one of the guys mentioned opening up the mountain but my buddy said not gonna happen.

HEY guys be careful in rifle camp park. i only go there with MY truck because i have hunting decals all over it, this way i dont get mistaken with the "other kind" of people up there. (only 2 kind of people go to rifle camp park: animal lovers, and "sausage lovers" get the drift) ive been folowed all around that park a few times...o and DONT answer the pay phone on the first parking lot...i did once...its someone hiding in the woods watching the phone, when a guy walks near it he rings it and tries to meet you in the woods. Outlaw, While I was at rifle camp today the sheriffs dept dept was checking a SUV in one of the parking lots. As he approached the truck both back doors opened and 2 middle aged men get out.
