Anyone have this unit? I have a guy at work selling one that is brand new but no paperwork or info. Seems his soon to be ex wife is playing some games with his stuff. Anyway, I'm looking for input on this and if anyone has a # I could call to get an owners manual, ect.
He is selling for $50, is that good for this unit? I know less than nothing about GPS units so all info would be very helpfull. __________________ Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.

Here's a link, you can either download or just save in Adobe.
Garmin Etrex Legend It's a fairly basic unit, but that's all you need in most hunting areas. It has 8mb or memory, that allows you to download Gamin's topo mapping. If it's new, he should have the data cable included. Garmin just released a new topo program that is much more detailed than their previous version, so if your gonna buy one, don't pay top dollar for the older program. I think the new one goes about $125.00 retail. If you want the older one, PM me a number I can get you at, and I can probably hook you up. __________________ Retired power lineman

I have it also. It's a decent unit. I've had it for about 5 years with no problems. I'd grab it for $50

Super X did you buy it? I have one, and would like another one for the boat. I have the big Garmin on the boat but it doesn't show cordinants until you mark the spot. The Etrex shows the numbers constantly. __________________ |
