So i applied for my FID 30 days ago, and 2 days ago i picked up my card and got a free lock with it, making it 28 days from application to approval im not sure but this might be a new jersey record, and to top it off, one of my references was slacking and took like 2 weeks to mail his back. on the same day i bought a remington 870, and tommorow im picking up an AR-15 and beretta cx4 carbine

i live in freehold boro, little factiod: our police station is on the ground floor of some low income appartments, and sometimes they dont even have to leave the building to make a few drug arrests. my freind got his fid a few months ago, it took him about 2 months but he lived one town over in manalapan, he said the DT's over there were not that freindly and i should expect the same wait time. this is coming from the same person that took two weeks to fill out his reference paperwork for me.. anyway the guys over at the freehold boro pd were great, both the DT i was working with and his CO that took my fingerprint cards. the best thing was though, i payed for everything only 54 dollars, and im not possitive but isnt that the price for just the fingerprinting?

i got my 3 black guns ar15 rem870 tactical beretta cx4 storm i got plenty of ammo for the AR and the shotty, but 40sw is hard to find in the big box retailers (dicks or sports authority) so ive only got 2 box's of that
