whoever wants in should just notify me by leaving a message on this thread. so far our scoring looks like its gonna be

squirrel/woodchuck= 1pt.
grouse/woodcock=2pts.
pheasant=3pts.
rabbit=3pts.

the points will start being added up when pheasant/rabbit season starts.

once we find out whos in, we can make teams.

I am confused by the regulations for squirrel and rabbit. In the digest squirrel and rabbit are listed under "SHOTGUN ONLY"... you cannot bowhunt for squirrel and rabbit?

I think I am wrong.
Posted:  25 Sep 2005 10:53 PM
for rabbit you can only use shotguns and for squirrel you can use either shotgun or muzzleloader.

I'll play.  I only hunt pheasants, but usually shoot a bunch of them.

What about chuckar partridge. They are listed in the game book during the small game season?

I'm in!

What are the rules and when does it end?

It's almost unfair before it even starts.  I belong to a club WITH NO BAG LIMIT!  At my club I have taken 16 (SIXTEEN, XVI) pheasants in one day but usually average around 5.

What do I win?

Seriously, I'm sure there are other guys in clubs that will have an unfair advantage.

In that case I say what ever the public ground limit is thats the most you can enter on any given day...We need to keep the playing field level!!!
