A3998 - Sponsored by Assemblymen Reed Gusciora (D-15), Michael Panter (D-12), and Robert Gordon (D-38), would ban the possession of all .50 BMG rifles and ammunition by declaring such items to be a “destructive device.”  It also would prohibit the private ownership of all .50 caliber in-line muzzleloader rifles, or any antique muzzleloader over .60 caliber.

A3494 - Sponsored by Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt (D-6) and Assemblyman Peter Barnes (D-18), would drastically raises all firearm license and permit fees and would allow the Superintendent of State Police the discretion to annually reconsider fees for a manufacturer or dealer license, a carry permit, the firearms purchase I.D. There isn't one documented case of an attack with a .50 cal to date. That makes no sense let's ban something that terrorist or gangbanger 'MAY'use in the future. Let's just ban all matches and cigarette lighters since someone 'may' burn down a school or building  .  These lawmakers are pathetic in this state. Take a note from today's headlines , you see what the terrorists favor and fully autos have been banned since the 1930's .So you see how gun contol really works.

Let the sponsors and cosponsors of these bills know you will work for any opponent running against them in 6 months.  Also contact your own reps and let them know that how they vote on bills like these will affect YOUR vote for them this Nov.  Then work to vote the weasels out!

Well I sent an email to all the folks on this page http://www.anjrpc.org/emails/EmailAlert05-08-07.htm

I can't comprehend why they are specifically targeting the in-line muzzleloader.  Unfuckingbelievable!!!

Yeah I can't wait to being required to "prove" that my .50 ML is grandfathered.  Maybe after I show up with receipts, a picture of me buying the gun while holding a newspaper from that day, they will let me have my confiscate-first-and-ask-questions-later gun and get my bail money back.
