I believe the maximum time is 90 days.
2 months is pretty good. __________________ "...but to protest against all hunting of game is a sign of softness of head, not soundness of heart."

My Morris County township told me 2 months .... and that's how long it took.
You need to follow up with your references ..... sometimes they fail/forget to return their letters. It happended to me when I recently applied for some handgun permits, and to my son for his initial FID. I don't understand how people fail to act, or forget about, a letter from the police department. coot |

Max SHOULD be 30 days if all the paperwork is done on your end and references come back in a timely manner. Most PD's take more than that but it can be done if they don't drag their feet. Two months is not bad compared to many PD's. __________________ "To be unarmed and therefore helpless in the face of evil is irresponsible and in fact complicit to said evil. From what I read elsewhere, the LAW says they have to have it in 30 days. The only way to try and get this to really happen would be to sue the local PD See what good that does you lol__________________ Tight Lines, Wet Nets, Filled Tags and Full Bags
